Our Boarding Kennels

Our kennels are set in the Kent countryside approximately 4 miles from the Channel Tunnel, 5 miles from Folkestone Harbour and 8 miles from Dover Harbour, all are connected to the M20 which is 1.5 miles from the kennels.

The Boarding Block for Dogs consists of 20 units. Sizes range from 3ft,3 inches to 6ft,6 inches wide (1M to 2M). All are a generous 7ft, 6 inches long (2.3M) and with an average height (2.5M) throughout. All dogs are fed twice daily, with a choice of food to suit the owners requests, with a constant supply of clean drinking water.

At night, during the cold weather, they have oil fired heating in the unit when all outside doors are shut, locked and the dogs are given clean blankets for their beds for the night.

Choice

An alternative Kennel block is situated at the front of the 6.5 acre site. Measuring approximately 72ft x 104ft ( 22M x 31M). It houses 20 kennel units, sizes range from 3ft,3 inches to 6ft,6 inches wide (1M to 2M). All are a generous 7ft, 6 inches long (2.3M) and with an average height (2.5M) throughout.

The size and number of the residents determine which kennel they have. Where multiple occupancy is in one unit they can be separated and supervised for feeding. Up to three dogs can share, if owned by the same person.

The whole unit is heated to a comfortable temperature even when it is freezing outside. All the residents have their own basket . You may supply this if you feel it will help them settle in more quickly,

These kennel units have their own 'en suite' exercise area which measures the width of the unit and is 20ft long (6M) into which they have. as much access as the weather permits, during the summer up to 14 hours a day. They are fed a variety of foods (dried, canned, frozen or fresh) once or twice a day.

They can be bathed and groomed when they need it and we can arrange for them to be clipped. They can be checked by our on-site veterinary surgeon whenever required, so any problems are quickly dealt with.

All residents are designated a kennel maid to look after them so each receives as much personal attention as possible and they get to know each other as well.
